Entries are free of charge and are open to any resident within the boundaries of the town Royal Tunbridge Wells (including Hawkenbury).

Since the launch in 2010 there has been only one rule: entries must be visible from the streets. But this rule has now been changed since the introduction of "Best Back Garden" in 2017.

 

Closing date to return entry form: 30 June 2024
(for allotments: 1 June 2024)

Each entrant will receive a voucher from Coolings Garden Centres
(for Wych Cross Garden Centre in the Ashdown Forest and Knockholt).

During the Coronavirus lockdown period and until end of June 2020,
122 local competition entries (residental only) were received and judged.
No schools competition was held due to Covid-19 restrictions and rules.
The LOCAL AWARDS Ceremony on Tuesday 16 September 2020 at the Assembly Hall had to be cancelled due to government restrictions.
