BLOOM IS BACK IN ROYAL TUNBRIDGE WELLS


Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and the Royal Tunbridge Wells Town Forum, the partnership between residents’ representatives and ward councilors, revived the once popular competition in 2010.

And again in 2012, the organisers wish to bring back once more the sparkle to Royal Tunbridge Wells through a number of methods e.g. cleaning of roundabouts, replanting containers, more street flower baskets and barrier troughs and even introducing edible landscaping on suitable spots.

Together with the "Love Where We Live" initiative it also aims to achieve
a litter free, cleaner and greener town.

We will work together with all communities and schools and there will be competitions for:

  • basket
  • planter/tub/container
  • front patio/balcony
  • front garden
  • cafe/pub/club
  • shop front
  • street

ENTRY

Entries will be free of charge and are open to any resident within the boundaries of Royal Tunbridge Wells (including Hawkenbury) .
There is only one rule: Entries must be visible from the street.
